Who We Are

Don is now 81 yrs old and officially retired, but he comes in from time to time.  He has customers from 30 yrs ago that still stop in to visit.  Sometimes he is even known to play Dominoes!

Our Business

You may see other Edward's Pipe Shops in the US.  This was a franchise back in the 60's, but now they are all individually owned.  Don Drew set up the store in Lakeland Florida in 1973 as he was a pipe smoker since an early age.  He has passed on his knowledge of pipes and cigars; how to smoke to adults who want more information and the guys who work here now.  We pride ourselves in old fashioned service and offer you a place to smoke.  If you work in the area, bring your lunch, watch TV, smoke and after work, come play Dominoes with the regulars.

Tony Tony has been here since 2003.  He found out he loves cigars while working here and now he knows about all of the cigars in the humidor. He also plays in a local band and teaches drums to high school students or will set up sound equipment for other bands.  He loves the computer and we are happy about that!

Bob has been with us since 2008, lives closeby and is also a manufactured home realtor.  He enjoys vintage cars (has a 1961 Chevy Impala) and a witty easy going personality.

Wally Wally is the newest member in 2010 from Lake Wales, FL.  He loves his cigars and thought working here must be a job created in heaven since smoking on the job in all other places is not the norm.  He is a golfer and accountant with an easy going style.
